Just noticed this
The FRCs on a 97 and 98 are different. Both have slits for the fuel lines but the 97 slits are vertical and the ones on the 98 are curved towards the rear. I assume this was to make removal/installation easier, but I consider both to be an equal pain in the ***.

The one fuel line is bad enough on the 99 and up cars.

It changed to a return less fuel system in '99. When I supercharged my vette back when it was stock one of the secrets was I used the '97 rails to move the return back under the hood for better delivery.

Because an engineer at GM said to the other engineer's at a board meeting, "Okay, let's hear your top 10 changes we can make that will confuse a future Vette owner!"

Read up, I explained why...
Technically it's easier only having to deal with one feed line on the rail than two I guess. For medium hp apps I mentioned switching to '97 rails because they relocate the regulator and have better delivery IMO.
