New Key
Went to the dealership yesterday and got an extra key for the Vette,seems previous owner kept one.It was so easy to do,and kinda scary...not one question about me being the owner or anything!!! $27.00 and I was out the door with a new working key!!

if you just had a key copied it's not a big deal. after all, you already have a key, a thief only needs one. if you want a key made from the VIN the dealer should make you jump thru some hoops. proof of ownership, current title or registration in your name, current insurance card in your name, etc.
