Just ordered my GHL Bullets from Chip (at CCA)... spent alot of time on this forum researching and for my first exhaust mod. settled on the GHL Bullets. Can't wait to get them on.
If you are on a budget and want a lot of bang for your buck you may want to try the muffler bypass. I am very pleased with the result and haved postphoned a more expensive set up because of it. Check the search for more.

B&B PRT on a '98 auto with 3.15 gears. I love the sound, it does have a little drone about 1700 RPM but it is not bad and it goes away quickly.
I had B&B PRT on my 98 A4 the drone is loud. I had the car 2 months sold the PRT with less than 2k miles on them. I replaced them with B&B Route 66 more to my liking. I got a great deal on the Route 66. I couldn't pass up. I will say that they are quiter than the 97 I had with Corsa Pace Car and X-pipe. I thought that they had the right sound for an A4.
BUMP
Good thread, I'd like to hear what more people have to say on the issue. I think what he was wondering about the difference in how the A4 shifts at such a low RPM and does it so swift-fully unless using excessive throttle, whereas the M6 you can slowly wind it out to 3-4K and shift with the RPMs dropping some and then going into the next gear... Nonetheless lets keep this thread alive!
I picked up a set of used ti's for my A4. I like to cruise and listen to a CD or be able to talk on phone or to my wife, not listen to the drone of loud pipes. They add just a touch of muscle to the tone (great when auto-xing). All depends on what you want in the way of sound.
