hood seal

Default hood seal
i just purchased a hood seal so i go outside to install it and the pictures i got arent to clear dont know if the tape part goes on the bottom or does it go sideways ?

tape to the bottom install it about 1/8" back from the front facia.

I installed mine with the tape side down against the flat horizontal piece of the fascia.

Hmmm I got one that is taped to the vertical portion of the cover, it is a very small seal. Might need to post some pics.

I just bought one of the side edge strips and cut to fit the front. That way it looks identical (cause it is) and it fits to the side (vertical part) which is actually the front not the bottom.

I initially got one from a vendor and it was thick and totally different and stuck to the bottom. I didn't like it.
