Default Looking for 3 tiny (but important pieces)

First piece:

Inside the trunk/hatch control module behind the button there's a small silicone spring-like thing. It's about 1/4" round and provides pressure to keep the button pused outward. I seem to have lost mine when i was replacing the bulb with an LED.

Second (need 2)
On the C5 hatchback coupes, the large plastic panel just behind the roof is held in place with 4 plastic snap-in bolts. They're about 1/2" long and have a 3/8" head on them.

Wnyone know where I can get these hard to locate pieces?

George,

I know exactly what the first piece you're describing is. When Tim (tstar) and I were working on lots of different led install schemes into components throughout the car we had lots of issues like this (where to find discrete pieces lost, missing, accidentally destroyed, etc). I don't think you will be able to locate a source for this rubber cup spring (it's actually an electrical contactor in the center that makes a circuit when you push the button, shorting it across two adjacent circuit traces on the PCB board). Your best bet is to find a donor trunk release/fog switch from a CF member with one for sale, or you might contact Gene Coggins at GenesKarShop.

Good luck. Let me know how things turn out.

Dwayne

I can grab the fog/trunk control module from ebay for $22 shipped. Is this a good deal?

I'd say yes, but before you pull the ejection handles, give Gene a call for comparison.
