I bought the Cleartastic paint protectors. Not sure if they are the same as what Ecklers sells or not but I had so much trouble with them I sent them back. Takes a lot of time to get them to look right and then they looked like I put window tint on my lower fender. Maybe it was the color, yellow but I could not handle the look. And I never did get them to look good on a curved surface or where they overlapped.

I bought the static protector that goes around the bottom of the vert's top. It was a pain to install and scared the crap out of me a few days later when it when whipping around in the wind while I had the top down. I don't use it anymore.

I bought a complete set for 04 and threw them in the trash can. Put on a set of splash guards from APSIS.

I've had my Cleartastic for a long time. I put them on for road trips. There is an art to putting them on but once you master it they work great. I've been through heavy rainstorms with no problem. If you are having problems and want to hear my suggestions, pm me. You'll find they are easy to put on and work great!!
