I really don't like the stripes going past the edge of the hood, so my choice would be in pic number 1.

I like the first one better. But I might be a bit bias. I also have the front emblem shaved.
I just think when they go on the bumper like in your # 2 pic it looks like you wanted them to go all the way but you stopped short. When they end neatly on the hood it looks like you know what you want.
