need help, cost not the problem diy on tubs or flares need to know about wheel back spacing. dont want to pay 5grand for wheels just for backspacing I like the ccw's but!!! let me see pics from behind and side of your setups I want to run 345-30-19's hope to here from you guys soon MR.632
I dig the L5 fenders, but from other threads I've read on them, and the provided pictures, you really have to buy special wheels to fit the fenders. If you don't, the tires look lost inside the fenders. I think given that fact, I would do the mini-tub, unless CCW's were on the to-do list anyway.
I have flares with CCW T10s. The flares were the cheap part, the wheels 19x9.5 front 19x13 rear with ps2s 275/30/19 and 345/30/19 mounted balanced shipped were close to $5k. I called CCW and explained what I was doing and they were able to make me a set of wheels that fit perfect. I did have to add spacers in the rear along with longer studs because of slight rubbing in the rear going around corners. Not a big deal! I am happy with the results.
Yup! It's 'I lost my mind look'! Actually the wheels are for a Caravaggio wide body, and I wanted to see if I liked the style. As you can see they stick out a mile...and a half!
I still like my wheels best.
OK.... so. Did you use bolt on spacers to get those rear wheels to stick out so far? And, what rear section is that? I like the little spoiler, and it looks molded in.
My compliments to the chef, very good looking car.
Just so there is no missunderstanding, while I love a deeeep lip look, from the outset I wanted to tub my car, for the stealth look. I wouldn't go the other route now. Well... maybe a Wide body...nah, er ah...
