Default Spark plug wires...$349.00???

One of the forum's sponsors (Corvette Central item number CC#17131) has a set of plug wires listed on a certain auction site; that we all know, for $349.00 (buy it now).
They seem to have some sort of capacitor on them for an extra blast of power to the plug, claiming an extra 8 to 10 hp gain....
Anyone have any experience with these? Could plug wires possibly be worth that kind of money?
I don't really see a brand name in the description unless I missed it....(?)

Never heard of them, but no way I'd pay that much for spark plug wires. My GMPP red ones from Gene do just fine.

I had a set on my 97 vette and could not tell a differents at all. The wires and silver tip spark plugs cost me 299.99 about 5 years ago. I have since replaced them with a set of MSD wires. The only bad thing about them is they are like 14 inches long. This twice as long as the factory ones.

The hood seal is cheaper, I think that adds about the same HP.

I'd buy a Turbenator for less than half that and get better mileage too.
