Overlooked
Did I overlook what lug nut torque specifications are?? Are is it not in our hand book.. Can some one please tell me what they are ??

I torque to 100 ft/lbs. I don't know if that's GM correct, but it's what I've used forever.

I usually just put the wrench on and put about "pretty damn hard" foot pounds on it. But that's just me.

Hahaha! Great quote man, I did the same until I bought a torque wrench. Turns out "pretty damn hard" foot pounds is right around 100 ftlbs for me.

100 ft/lbs.... not click + a little more. Always torque your lugs with a torque wrench. Overtightening them can lead to metal fatigue and stud failure.

I've heard of this "stud failure". It's the first time it's happened, honest.

You did overlook it. The torque specification is in the owner's manual.
In my manual, it is on page 5-99, Capacities and Specifications.

I "fatigued" 3 wheel studs with the just snug them up+a little more technique. They finally broke on the way off. Now I always torque to 100ft lbs.
