Default Daily Machine, Trailer Queen, or In Between?

In light of recent threads about how many miles one "should" drive their Corvettes, here's a poll to see what's popular this week. The gamut has run from those who feel the Corvette is "just for pretty," through those who think a Corvette should be driven "till it just don't drive no more," and then sold to someone else to give 'er a new life.

What will the results yield? Where do YOU fall in the range? How much do you drive your Corvettes per year?

"Survey SEZ!!!"

I'd love to be able to drive it more...but not with the weather we get here in the winter.

Shes out on the roads all weekend long and does some occasional running around during the week. As long as weather is nice. The last 2 years we put about 5K a year on the LT4 we just sold. With the new C5 here it will probably be on the road quite a bit more its first year. she will probably see 7K miles this year when the snow melts! then about 4-5K a year after that.

I put 5K or less per year on mine. I need a truck for work, so I just drive it for fun.

I assume that only doing a few 1000 miles on at VIR and WGI per year is considered some Sunny Saturdays and Sundays

98 with 28,700 miles.

I'd drive it more, but I'm on the road more than my C5 is.

In the garage for the winter, and driven as much as I can when the weatherman says it's warm and sunny. Unfortunatly, that only worked out to be around 5000 miles last summer

I own a truck and an H-D.

The 'Vette gets the most miles out of all of them!

There really wasn't an accurate category for me. I drive mine, even in the rain, but it's also not a "daily" driver. I switch back and forth between my two vehicles.

But thanks anyway

not sure just how many miles I'll end up driving her , but I put on about 3k miles since I bought her in Aug. And then had to put her away for bad weather.

Mine is my daily driver. There is nothing special about it. It's just a car to me....a nice car. I only use my truck, a crew cab, to haul the family around, go to Lowes [etc], and to take my dirtbikes out. If I wanted a garage queen I would get a Z06 or a C6 or a C6 Z06 (just a few nickels away!!!!).

Some guys buy a Honda Civic to commute in and some buy a C5. I guess I'm the latter.

Daily driver, rain or shine. Under the covers for the winter. About 10,000/yr.
