Default Best windsheild wipers?

Here in Florida I change the wipers on my C5 at least twice per year. I have tried several brands and noticed most are now made in China. Put Ancos made in Mexico on last week. None hold up well as the heat here destroys the rubber. Suggestions?

Haven't changed my vette wipers yet but on the Blazer I use the AC Delco from the dealer. Cheap and seem to work good for me.

I use Zaino wax or RainX on the windsheild every 6 weeks or so....don't really end up using the blades much at all. Just rolls right off.

Bosch ICONS installed on my daily driver. They are absolutely fantastic....picked them up at Autozone for less than $50 for the pair.

The BOSCH ICONS are good, and they are also on my DD (down); as for the heat, the high for last year here in Kansas was like 109 degrees during a summer day, and this winter we've been down to about 5 degrees, snow, ice, you name it, so yes they do hold up for the bad weather we have.

They hold up better than any wiper blade I have used on any car in the last 40 years. Typically wiper blade rubber is destroyed by the sun Vs heat and that is why everybody recommends changing blades twice a year but the ICONs on my Tahoe went close to two years before they started getting streaky and that vehicle is always outside.

SUPER SILICONE WIPER

Mary Anderson first decided that automobiles could use a wiper blade when she saw motorists emerging from their vehicles to clean their windshields by hand. It was November, 1903. Her spring-loaded wiper arm was patented in 1905, then replaced by a mechanical arm in 1913. Since then, the wiper blade has pretty much remained the same.

Until today.........

Now, for the first time ever, PlAA offers a new clarity of vision - the Super Silicone Wiper Blade. From the initial design process to extensive laboratory testing under the harshest conditions, this blade outperforms every other blade currently on the market:

The Super Silicone Wiper Blade secures a wider field of vision in inclement weather, ensuring greater visibility.

The Super Silicone Wiper Blade offers better resistance to all climates - heat, ozone, ultra-violet, and wear - clearly outperforming the industry standard.

Super Silicone coating elimates squeak and reduces drag, regardless of the shape of the windshield, providing greater comfort for both driver and passenger.

The Super Silicone Wiper Blade maintains a sharp, clean edge, even after 230,000 operations. As you can see, PIAA has engineered unparalleled effectiveness and streamlined operation into every blade - qualities that ensure superior performance.

Anyone try Trico Neoform? I've narrowed it down between those and the Bosch Icon.

I also love the Bosch Icon. Rain-X is great too (the liquid, not the wipers). For those of you that are afraid to drive in the rain, check the owners manual. Most of these cars actually came with windshield wipers right from the factory!
