Default Easy Entry issue

OK, I need my Easy Entry due to double back surgeries

And it has worked fine until a few days ago. Now when I pull the key the seat goes down to the floor and the steering wheel retracts BUT the seat does not move back on the tracks like it used to

I have already tried:

Re syncing the fob
Checking the DIC settings, turning EE off and back on
Resetting the Memory 1 & 2

Everything works EXCEPT the seat will not move back any more.

Any ideas ?

Thanks

does it move properly (all the time) when you use the adjuster switches? mine would keep dropping out. if I held the switch to move forwards or backwards the seat would move for a while then stop. if I release the switch and hit it again it would start moving again, then stop later. almost as if it thought it was hitting the stops when it wasn't really.

do your memory buttons work? if so you might want to consider using them instead. the easy entry feature has some well documented problems. for reasons unknown it pulls the seat all the way back, but does not raise the seat up, so the motors end up digging into the carpet under the seat ripping it and ultimately damaging the seat track. I liked the easy entry feature when I first got my C5, then realized this and turned it off. I programmed my button 1 to go into driving position, and button 2 to be the get in/get out position. my button 2 moves the wheel all the way forward, the seat all the way back, and all the way up. remember also you have 3 positions there too, so just in case you aren't the only driver of your Vette, use the 3rd memory setting for "Get out, get in" push both buttons at the same time for option 3.

if you use the memory buttons the memory light comes on steady while the seat is moving. if you use them like I do and the seat won't go back for you any more check the indicator lights, if the seat is still and the memory light is still on, you have a problem. that means the SCM is waiting for the seat to reach its set point, which it never will because the seat is stopped, the SCM doesn't know that its not working. this indicates there is either something wrong with your seat track (expensive) relay (which is part of the SCM, expensive) or the switch assembly (more expensive than it should be)

one thing you can try is to unplug the two electrical connectors which go to the drivers seat (may have to unbolt it to gain access) and then reseat them. some dialectic grease in that connector wouldn't hurt either. that instantly fixed my seat problems. it was only temporary however, I had to replace the seat track eventually.

.
Thanks for the suggestions,
The seat moves fine with the on seat adjuster button and EE worked fine up until last week, and still does except for moving the seat back.
The memory buttons do work for all 3 settings

I will check the connections, but assume they are fine if the seat moves with the on seat adjuster button
