Would be really hard to just dye the piping without getting it on the body of the leather........and a dye on top a dye will rarely get an accurate color.
the problem is one getting to spray even while sticking to a small area
the to try and match the color i use dye all day long and i would send it back isent my own seats to a shop and we matched the yellow tubing pretty close and then they sewed it on
You can also check out the SEM colors. They sell them at NApa and Carquest Oreilleys and maybe the autobody stores. I used to use them to dye interiors and they work really well. I would buy the 5 basic colors and mix my own to match the interior color since some would have faded and I would need to match it.
You can also get some from rightlook dot com. They sell there own version but I think it is just repackaged SEM. It is about $15 or 20/color. They also sell factory colors in spray cans.
