The trailer hitch is no problem as it is hidden just under and behind the rear bumper cover area. When the hitch is out, you can barely see it. It is the small square type, I think it is about a 1 1/4" square. The trailer unloaded weights maybe 125 -150#. The whole body area is storage area and the top of the trailer from the windows up, opens upward. It also locks, the tailights in the Corvette also operate with your own car or bike. Mine is modified with LED lights, diamond plate platform under the Corvette part of the trailer, diamond plate toolbox mounted on the tongue area of the trailer and other mods to be different.
The FUN factor is well worth it, but as far as practical; the trailer as storage space has been great both with the motorcycle and traveling with the Corvette on those long and week long or longer trips. I have not ever gone on a trip and never brought something to bring back home. Travel with my wife just to a weekend cruise and I need room for her entire cloth collection. Chairs, cooler, cleanup stuff, canopy, and everything else makes life easier.
