Fast blinker
Took the vette out today for a drive. When I used the left turn signal it blinks twice as fast as the right one which blinks normally. Never had this happen before. Anyone else?

if the bulb is fine, check the level of your blinker fluid on whichever side is acting funny.

If not that, then the muffler bearings might be out.

Final check is to make sure your carb isn't too rich or lean.
Or, ask a buddy with a diesel to swap spark plugs with you. That might help.

Just find the offending bulb, replace it and all things should return to normal.

I use to deal with this on a monthly basis until I replaced my front lenses which were allowing water to get into the bulb socket, blowing the bulb.

Yes, but you must remember to change this out for the winterized fluid, don't want it to freeze up on you, and be stuck with no lights!

That's that Panama City, Mexico mentality! I have the bigger vehicle and I blew my horn thus, I have the right of way!

Does this not also happen when you only apply lite pressure to the turn signal? If I lightly touch my signal indicator when I'm changing lanes, it goes off at high speed, as I increase the pressure on the indicator, it returns to normal flashing speed.
