Im looking to upgrade.. but really dont know what direction to go in? Im looking for a little more than just a LS6 swap. Is F.A.S.T 90/90 worth it? Is BBK good? Any other brand you prefer? Any opinions? Any info id appreciate. thx
What mods do you have right now? You really dont need the FAST intake until you have swapped out the heads and cam. You can still do it but I dont think you will get the max power out of it until you do you a head/cam swap. Personally I would go with the FAST.
yeah iv read that before and i dont plan on doing heads and cam.
mods as of now b&b exhaust, vararam, maf, air duct... sitting in garage 125 shot of nitrous... but dont know if ill install... but want to get throttle body and manifold then get dyno tune.. just really dont know what directions to go in.. any help? i like f.a.s.t. but expensive. is there any alternate route?
I was considering the LS6 swap for my 2000. Like you, am not doing a head/cam swap. Forum members tell me there will be only a 3-4 HP gain...not worth the $$$$
The stock intake will flow enough for your engine as it is.
I am leaning towards headers and /or 160 thermostat and tune
really thats all the HP gain id get off throttle body and manifold? well it wouldnt be worth spending a grand on it then. id expected to get a little more out of it than that
