Default C5 therapy

How many of you are like me in that your vette always helps you feel better when you need it? Had a hard day, sad about something, you name it, after I drive my car or even just detail it, I feel better.

Best therapy on the planet!

I totally agree. Someone once asked me about lifes simple pleasures and I have to say one was driving my C5. For some reaon it is just very relaxing to get in the vette and go for a ride.

before it used to be my Stang for me, but now the exitement has gone to the Vette, so yes it does feel good to drive, wash, or do almost anything on and in the vette.

I know getting up each day I will be treated to a 35 minute romp to work. At the end of the day the walk out to my distant parking spot, where the Vette is safe, is a pleasure as I think about the special ride home I am about to have. Each day the same thing, but damn, it can't get better than this.

Yes, driving it does tend to make everything better for the time being. Sometimes just looking at it in the driveway also reminds me how fortunate I am.

How's this story to back up your theory!

Monday, me and 400 other people burried Joe Bob Cates in a small rural cemetary in Beaver County Oklahoma. Knew and loved him and his family for almost 30 years!

Pheasant hunting, fishing for anything will never be the same

Anyway, when I first got my car I drove it 228 miles to his house to show it off. When I pulled up in his driveway, ( a dirt road ) he and some of my other Buddies where there enjoying a certain brand of wheat sodas on his back porch. I got out in time to hear Joe say, "Now that, is a Silver Bullet"! The name stuck!

Two days after I, Mark, Kirk, Gerry, another Mark, Lynne, Darrell and Joe Critchlow, who's son found our friend dead in a single truck accident, carried Joe Bob Cate's casket for the last time, I got home and fired up the SilverBullet00 and took her for a spin!

I am driving my dream car for the first time in almost a week! I hadn't quit thinking about my friend that entire week. Joe named my vette and after about 10 or 15 minutes into that "spin", I realized had not thought of him for that same amount of time!

Thanks Joe,

The Silverbullet00 and I will miss you!
