Upgrading Audio, is this a smart start?
I was thinking about getting a NVTHIS Stealth box with a JL 10W3v2 or ED 13kv2, single sub and getting a 400/1 or 500/1 amp just for it. Keeping all original equipment intact.
My reasoning is I would like some Bass, and I can always replace all other speakers/ HU and add a second amp later.
Two things hold me back.
1. Will the sub overpower the rest of my setup and sound like crud.
2. Installation, how do tap into the H/U to wire the amp, that then goes direct to the sub? How do I run from battery back to amp ( I saw how to get through firewall). Do you have to take seats and carpet out to get under. Is there a simple quick way to just add the Sub onto the existing setup?
