Default Gas Door oops!



so... I yanking on this and I'm wondering how to i put it back? I'm not using the switch (its a race car) so i figure i can remove that whole assembly back there as well?

You need to remove the left rear wheel and then the inner fender well, fairly simple. You will see the whole set up clearly. I messed up mine and fixed it this way.

I have a hatch with the entire rear carped pulled out. So i can see everything clearly right now, and i "think" i know where it goes. but My big question is why didnt it come open? I tugged really hard and i would have expected it to open. Is there any special procedure?

ok, so i removed the mechinism, installed the cable and it came right open
