I too bought the BMW jacking pucks - got them last August and just leave them on the car. So far, they have stayed in place.
[QUOTE=MRJB;1563587814]I bought these from the Big Auction site for $30 plus shipping. They snap in place and I just leave them there. They are great.
I have had 4 of these on my 99 for two years.........never lost one. Mine were $6.95 each at a BMW site

Just for information to anyone planning to buy the BMW jacking pucks, make sure to buy the round ones. There are also square ones which will interfere with the body panel (i.e. don't fit). There was another thread on this a few months back.
The "Remove Before Flight" flag is a good idea in theory, but I bet is difficult to see under the car unless you happen to be looking for them in which case, you already remembered what you were trying to remind yourself of to start with. And, if you only knew how many of those are forgotten and actually wind up taking a trip to the wild blue yonder...
They do look neat though. I flew one on my bike for years where the helmet hangs.

The flag is a cool idea, but it would make more sense to put a ring on it and attach it to your key ring or steering wheel in some fashion. That way when you go to move the car you will see the flag and think, did I remove the pucks or not?
just did it today !after routine maintenance lowered the car had to run to tne mall for the wife ,also to best buy and to pickup lunch .then a hi speed blast down the hiway.
i remembered my puck about 2 hours later
ran to the garage there it was right where i left it ,i guess i should buy a lottery ticket
today is my lucky day
