A few tricks of the trade. The front nose has an adjustable edge that can be raised or lowered so that the fascia and the hood will align correctly.

For even more perfection, you can get some large size washers and shim it from underneath to get it perfect.

I am in the midst of converting my coupe to an FRC and outting on my tiger shark nose and mcm hood plus a bunch of ACP body parts.

The TS sitting higher than the hood was the problem I had when mine was installed. I adjusted all the post and that thing wouldn't line up for nothing. Then I got to looking at the the bolts that hold the hood onto the hood mounting bracket and saw that ONE of those bolts is an adjusting bolt. Sure enough, that did it. It's not perfect on the sides so I'll need to do some more adjusting but that awful alignment issue in the front is gone.

Do you have fog lamps?

Slide a few large washers under the low areas to make it fit better. That's how GM does all of your fenders, etc..

No fog lights, I agree there are alot of adjustments, I spent the day working this one over and it fits much better than when I started. It is not a bolt on install if you want it to look correct. I also worked the center out some with 40 grit paper, the facia is very thick there and some material can be removed, also have a good friend in the body buisness.

so you guys are installing the facia yourselves?

i'd like to save the cost of a shop doing it, is it fairly straightforward?

Yeah, it is pretty easy. You'll have to pull off your front fascia and then check the fit of the tigershark and then send it out to get painted and then install it.

Not sure what color you car is and whether or not you'll need to blend paint into the hood and fenders.

i doubt i would need to. my quarters were panel painted and they match perfectly.

so if the test fit had issues, i'd probably have to let the body shop deal with it?

The shop that did mine has a guy who specializes in after market kits. He said that he has done some that were a major PITA. He then started describing how much work he did on mine but at the end said that this was one of the more pleasant experiences that he has had with an after market install. For what it's worth...

Should be straight forward then for you. They have remolded the original ones from a few years back.

The new ones are really nice and fit up very well or at least mine did.

Not to get off topic, but I've seen some tigersharks with zo6 screen material for the grill and fog lamps, does anyone know where those are available?

There either custom done or repainted silver. I asked the same questions of a couple membes who had done that to their front screens.

I have a dark colored car, Navy Blue and want some contrast and will re-spray the screens silver to match some paint accents that i plan to do.

The screens come with the TS in black. You can paint them if you like.

I believe some folks have gotten zo6 screen material, I was wondering if it was commercially available for the tigershark.

Don't think so. Anyone that has done an after-market material has done so on their own.

The TS screens are black extruded metal... I like them. A few guys like GBVette have sourced out Z06 screen and used that.

About time I saw a pic with the emblem on the TS bumper! I love the way they look and if I cold afford it, I'd get one, but it seemed a little empty without the emblem.

Less is more. Looks cleaner without the emblem. Anyone who doesn't know what kind of car it is doesn't care what kind of car it is.
