the world is full of scum bags.

one hot August evening my wife and I visited our favorite TexMex restaraunt for Margaritas and Fajitas. when we returned to the truck to leave there was a very soiled diaper rolled up in the bed. I was pist. with minimal contact with index finger and thumb I started to remove it when I saw the car beside me had a car seat, diaper bag, toys and such thru out the back seat. and it wasn't locked. ah ha! I carefully deposited the dirty diaper under the front seat, shut the door and left. after a while in 100+ degree temps I wonder how it must have smelled.

if I targeted the wrong persons I am truly sorry, but you should lock your doors

Run into the same ignorance here in Charlotte. All of my cars are nice, customized and I try hard to keep door dings from happening. Seems no matter where I park someone has to park so close you cant get in or pull a coffee cup stunt. Crazy as it sounds I've had the coffee cup done to me. Just plain ignorance and disrespect for other people's property.

This reminds me all the times when I had my truck how people assumed it was ok to throw trash in the bed. I never had a diaper, but had everything else from McDonalds bags to beer cans. Since when was it passed that a truck bed is also a public garbage can? Because I missed that memo

Jealously---been going on for years. Back in the late '60's my dad was fighting it on a daily basis. Living in apartments, Alexandra VA. He drove a '63 split window.

One day he came out to find a brick sitting in his driver's door.

He later owned a new '68 Super Bee. Came out one morning to find someone threw a cinder block at it. They then picked up the pieces and kept on throwing them at the car.

Guess some people think we should all live at their level and never try to own anything nice.

Hope there's no real damage to your Vette.

Right now, I'm getting ready to drop off my DD to get $902-worth of hit-and-run damage repaired. During 2-1/2 years of ownership, I've had to eat $2700+ to repair damages inflicted upon my sled by my cowardly fellow Minnesotans. Don't believe that 'Minnesota Nice' myth -- it ain't true -- especially in the Twin Cities metro. I'm a lifetime native, so I get to b*tch.

If you have something nice people always want to mess it up. My 79 cutlass got keyed with in 2 weeks after painting it. Also someone pried off the rear emblem off my 79 Vett (it was in the front parking spot). Now with my C5 I won't even leave it unattended.

I had my GTP parked way out towards the end at a Home Depot in Charlotte and my 2 way transponder alarm went off. I hurried out to the car and there was a lot attendant retrieving a lumber cart from the side of my car. He said a customer kicked the cart into my car. I thanked him for not getting a plate number.
The perpetrator managed to dent the door, bottom ground effect panel, and the trim piece below the window. 500 bills to repair.

What's wrong with people?

In a word: JEALOUSY!

They want what we have and what they can't have.

So they want to mess up what we have. I guess it makes 'em feel better.

I personally do not think that the jerk who put that on your car was after a vette or vette owner. They are just an example of the current society, that does not respect other people, other peoples property, nor other peoples ideals.

Don't take stupidity so personally. He or she was so brain dead they probably did not even know it was a vette.
