I just installed a Ipod2car in my 98 Vette. I just bought a new 80GB classic from Apple. It sounds great. My problem is when it is hooked up to the ipod2car the scrolling on the ipod is hit or miss, but if it is disconnected from the ipod2car it works just fine.
There's a guy in Ebay I got mine from selling t hem for $58 plus $20 shipping to US. If you have a factory CD changer in the back or at least the cable that goes from the stereo to the changer, then that is all you need. If not, then you will need a $20 PHXGM4 cable to go from the stereo to the adapter.
04 Vet. Delco radio, pioneer changer (12). Changer plays somewhat. Radio buttons do not use all options that changer should have. iSimple IPOD is connected to radio (unsure which version (2 or 4). Changer is connected. When I connect IPOD, it plays for 10 seconds, then the radio comes on. If I disconnect changer, IPOD does not work. Any suggestions would be a big help.

Those that are having some problems might want to touch base with Dennis at Double D Mods. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to stereo setups in these cars and may be able to give you some advice on how to fix the problems.

I just had that exact problem. My local audio shop said my ipod adapter (which was about 6-8 years old) had failed. I replaced it with the newest model. $119 installed and is very discreet. there is no evidence of it except the aux cable in the glovebox.
