Default C5 Safety Mods

I did some searching through the Forum and I have yet to find a list of Safety mods for the C5. I have looked through the sticky at the top of the page, but I was wondering what you all would do to make your cars safer for regular around town driving. I am considering installing HID low-beams, Column lock bypass, oil catch can, and bigger brakes (not really a safety only mod, but who doesn't want bigger brakes). Any other suggestions?

More for looks than safety when I got them, but I installed the sequential turn signal kit and the pulsing third brake light kit. Very easy installs. Blinking lights in the rear should draw attention and maybe keep someone from rear ending you if they aren't paying attention, maybe?

Signal mirrors help when you're changing lanes and LED brake lights come on instantly and are much brighter. I also installed a rearview camera to aid in backing up.

XM Traffic is a nice feature if you drive in town much. It can save you lots of delays and avoid congested areas, lessening your chances of getting rear ended.

That's a good economical safety upgrade.
