Is there a replaceble bulb behind that button? Just noticed tonight when I went to turn on the auto that the button was not there. Then realized that it is not longer illuminated like the rest of the buttons. Hope this is an easy fix.

Yeah.. well, half of my buttons no longer light, including the fact that temp display is 100% unreadable now (dark). Apparently these units commonly fail. Thus why I've drug my feet on shelling out dough on a new one. Hope yours is an easy fix.

Yours is also an easy fix. I do not have a quick reference thread for this but there are 6 or 8 resistors on the power supply circuit board that need to be resoldered. While it is apart the lamps can be replaced or changed to LED's.

Your "241" resistors need re-soldered on the power board. Do a search and you should find it... also there's a service compnay on Ebay that does a great job of repairing them for a good price with a warranty.
That would be awesome Gary. Do you have any pics of yours? Now I gotta decide if I want to just fix this unit or do the LED upgrade. But if I do that I'd probably want to do the entire interior LED upgrade. Decisions Decisions.

Mine was serviced just 2 months ago,and the turnaround
was very expedient. It looks like a brand new unit and the
price was quite reasonable.
Now if I could find someone to freshen up the CD player
the same way would be awesome.

There's a forum member who does this also. I would trust him before I went the fleabay route.
This is a more accurate thread addressing the problems that you all are having:
It cost me a whopping $1200 at the stealership, and that was right before I found this place. I haven't been to the stealership since. For those of you who get this fixed under warranty, MAKE SURE YOU REQUEST TO GET YOUR AC UNIT BACK! They will keep the radio as it is an exchange item. The AC unit can be fixed (by yourself or a forum member) and kept as a spare (or you could sell it).
