The wife decided we need to get away for a few days. She asked if there was any place in particular that I would like to go. First words out of my mouth were Bowling Green. Would the end of March be a good time to visit? (Weather wise) Any suggestions on hotels, etc. would be appreciated.
Maybe we can put if off until May for the Cruise-In. We own our own Buisness so we only get about one week a year for travel and it is normally work related. The Cruise-In sounds great. Thanks for the replies. It would be great to meet some of the Forum Family.
When you go, make sure you stop at the first rest area in Kentucky that has a staffed tourist desk. The one we stopped at was on 65 I believe coming north from Tenn. Tell them you are going to the museum and you wondered if they had any discount coupons. The last two times we have gotten free discount coupons for admission and the last time they gave us a free hat pin. I can't remember for sure, but I think it was museum related. You will love the museum and gift shop. Don't forget to post pics and info. when you get back.
