I'm not sure the price seems a bit high to me. I picked up my Z06 last month with 7900 miles on it for 28.5k. The verts do sell for more than regular coupes though, not sure when compared to the Z's. I think if you like the car and it's in good shape with a good carfax do it and be happy.

I think it's a good price for a 2004 convertible, with only 12,000 miles on it. Go for it!

sounds reasonable to me. and im in the car business. great mileage which is a big plus for the car. the value holds in these cars as you will hopefully find out. if you like it go for it, but remember like the other guy said, do a carfax. good luck!

I say, if you can get it down to ~ $28K, you got yourself a good buy

Sounds like a pretty solid deal for a Convertible with that low mileage. Sure you can buy cheaper but not with those miles and if the condition is top notch go for it.

Hell yes it's a good deal.

1) 2004 was the best year....it was the last year, therefore it is not only the newest C5 you can find, it has all the bugs fixed that were going to be fixed.

2) 12,000 miles....perfect mileage to be buying a used C5.

3) There can't be many black convertibles with a red interior out there, so if that's the color you want it is a great find.

4) MN6 if you are looking for a stick convertible, they are much rarer than the A4, so once again you have got lucky if it is a stick you want.

5) Even Edmunds prices a 2004 'Vert with those miles at $32K private party. The owner is being very sensible at $30K. You can try him at 28.5K, or $29K, but don't be surprised if he turns you down. Doesn't hurt to try though.

Be interested to hear what the outcome is, keep us informed.

Sounds pretty fair to me, black vert with red int is uncommon! Good luck...

Sounds like a really pretty car. I like the black with red, very unusual. Doesn't hurt to try to save some money but you are getting an almost new car for a little more than half what the seller originally paid for it.

Can't tell where you are and prices vary. Sounds like a good deal if the car is next to perfect, paint, seats, carpets, engine compartment should be clean, tires should all be in good shape and it should have most of the options, HUD is great. If it has most of that it's close to a good deal. I would offer $1500 less and see where you come out. But if you like it the asking price is not bad.
Good luck, if you like a stick go for it.

You can get a carfax and check the Vin with a local dealer to check on recorded work on it if any.

Sounds solid to me, low miles, nice color combo, & MN6. When I was looking for my Z almost 3 years ago, vert & Z prices were close. Under $30 would be better, but if you like it & it checks out good pull the trigger!
