I did the muffler by-pass and gutted my mufflers so I to wanted new tips. I bought the stainless Corsa Hot Tips from Ecklers part#34293. If you have the stock stainless tip you will have to remove them. I used a 4 inch handy grinder to grind the stainless welds down and they slipped right off. If you have no tips they will just slip on. There are 3 tabs that hold them in place and a screw that goes through the stock tip and through the one tab.

I did the bypass also, and the same tips. It came out great at not much cost. Grinding the old welds off the pipes (in place) can be difficult though.

I too used the Corsa Hot Tips, I HIGHLY recommend them. They are a QUALITY part, heavy polished stainless steel that looks like chrome. They are at least 4 years old and still look GREAT !

Stock Z06 TI setup looks really nice...

But I have to say the 2 tip Borla stingers and the B&B tri-flow 2 tip setups look awesome too, and I have heard they are louder too!!

Look for a used exhaust in the "C5 Parts" section ...
