Any comments on how to protect the new paint would be appreciated. Paint and some other goodies down there. I couldn't find any threads with the ?wheels to protect the valence. Anyone got a link? Suggestions.
Also want to put something different on the rocker panels. Both in the door frame or sills and under the rockers. I don't get in and out so good anymore.
Any other suggestions appreciated.

I run a GM bra to protect the front end from rock chips, bugs, etc. Has worked very well for me. If you want the roller wheels for the skid bars, try CCA - Chip will take care of you.
DO NOT.........repeat........DO NOT put a bra on a new paint job unless it is AT LEAST 90 days old..........GM bras are the bet fit for the $$. Speed lingerie are good too but $$$. Just wanted to warn you.
I'd wait a month and get the clear 3M Rock Guard installed stem to stern. There should be an installer in your area - check with your local GM Dealership for a referral. You are going to have to wait a bit for the paint to cure first though.

MIS makes clear automotive bras for sports cars...they are really good in protecting your car from rocks and you can't see the bra. the only bad thing is that its really expensive
There are solvents and other chemicals in the paint that need to evaporate as the paint cures, hardens and shrinks that could cause the bra to actually stick to the new paint. That is what was told to me at the body shop. Anybody else have anthing to add?

I'll ask the painter. This is news to me but I don't know a lot about paint. I won't put a bra on yet. I took the car out for the first time in bright light. There are swirls on the hood. Very faint but there. I'm meeting with him this coming weekend and I'll have him rebuff that area. I'll ask him about the bra then. It's so pretty I hated to drive it or touch it. Oh, well that won't last too long.
