Default "service engine soon" on display?

My 1998 MN6 vert just flashed this code on the display on my way to work. It is the first "warning" I have seen in the year I have owned it. It was not followed by a specific code or other instructions.

I have (thanks to the help on this forum) personally changed my oil, transmission fluid, etc in the last 3 months and the car is running fine.

How can I find out what my display is warning me about?

I do not want to walk to the dealership and say "what do I need to pay you guys today?"

Thanks.

Check for codes on the DIC...current codes with have a "C" and history codes will have an "H".
From the code(s) pulled, you can check the site below to narrow down the root cause, or ask here again and someone will provide you additional help.
The code could be as simple as you forgot to tighten you gas cap, or forgot that it's time for an oil change, or that the oil has been recently changed and you/service shop forgot to reset the oil life monitor...

Thanks for the first step! I did fill up with Chevron right before I got the warning. If that is all it is, I will feel like an idiot! I will check it today.

Update to follow!

I believe Autozone will check the code for free and give you a particularly detailed printout of what is going on. I wouldn't get to nervous yet because it could be something very simple like hotwheels57 says.
