oil reading gunned
When I started the car this morning I noticed the Oil Pressure reading was gunned to 80 and was not moving ... I hear this is the sensor for the oil pump. Is this true? HOw much is this fix?

the sending unit has gone bad, very common.

wow there are a lot of threads on this. I had my car since 97 and my brother I remember had the same problem with his 99 vert, not thnking that it would happen to me. Behold till this morning, I called him and he mentioned to me that he didnt fix his for years. Can that cause any other damage unforseen?
