i'm putting new wheels and tires on my stock Mag Red II Coupe this spring.
a friend suggested HRE wheels...i'd never heard of them, but they look pretty nice on their website. also they're forged (which in golf clubs is good). does this make that big of a difference?
I have iForged and they are the same wheel as HRE. Either one is a great wheel but very costly. You get what you pay for when it comes to forged wheels. mThe big draw back is the time it takes to have a set made.
I inherited HRE 547's from the previous owner. He upped the sizes to 20 and 19". I looked up the wheels and was surprised to see a retail price of $800+. They look great but I would not have spent $4000+ for the wheel tire combo!
Here's mine! While they are high dollar rims, by some freak chain of events is how they landed in my lap so I traded my polished Y2K's/ tires for these. They were brand new still in the box, original owner paid well of 7k for them and never seen them (died from a heart attack). The rims were sold to ECS by one of his friends for his widow and I bought them from them.

man i love HRE's!!! i also love iforged...haha bought me a set of iForged like mentioned...waiting for them to get made is the hardest part, well on me..on my wallet...not so much. CCW also makes a great wheel for a little less on the wallet....
I cant wait to get mine esp with seeing all these pics floating around!
thanks guys....but now i'm starting to think i should probably be looking at wheels a bit less taxing on the wallet (didn't know they cost THAT much!)
jeff
For pretty much same quality (to me, better quality as well ), go with Iforged's for the better look, deeper dishes for almost 1/2 price of HRE
HRE's just overpriced to me
Here is my new 3rd set of Iforged's
