I wanted a Lightning for the longest time. Then I saw all the guys on forums selling their trucks and buying Z06s. So I just skipped the entire Lightning stage and went straight to the Z06

Yes, you are right. I've noticed that too.

Thanks for all the comments guys. It is 6:28am Sunday morning--This waiting for Tuesday is making me nauseous
I'm off to study the FAQ section of the board.

Howdy neighbor, noticed you are from Lancaster, me too! Jacksons Corvette Sales here in Landisville is where to go for service. He is a Corvette guru, great guy and will always treat you right. I take my Vette there for all service, never take it to a dealer. Let me know when you get her and congratulations.

Thank you for the info for service: very good to hear. I don't know of ANY Corvette "freindly" shops in the area, other than the dealerships.

Keeping fingures crossed with the Vette transaction. I'm optimistic everything will go well and I'll be posting pics late in the week.

Your welcome! He is right on Main Street in Landisville. You can't miss him, he always has about 10 Vettes outside for sale. When you get yours, we will have to meet up. You ever need any help on info, just let me know. I have been in Vettes a long time, this is number 20 for me and my last. Finally got my "keeper."

C5 is the best
I bought my C5 7 years ago, my 2 younger brothers and my best friend thought I was crazy, every time I talked about how great the car is. One after another, they test drove my car and they all went out and bought one.

My best friend had to go big and buy an '01 Z06, trying to "one-up" me....and thank god he did, because that's when the mod monster took over, and now my baby makes 428rwhp for about the same price he paid for his Z06!
