headers question
I was looking to get some headers from kooks since they worked well on my c6.Hopefully it will give the same performance on the z.My question is I see the kooks headers with the 3" oem cat adapers.If I get those,does that make it able to hook up to the factory converter and keep everything stock or do I still have to swap the converter/xpipe to make the headers fit? Im just trying to save some money.The only mods I want to do are filter,headers and tune.My ears are to sensitive for cams or loud catbacks so Im keeping that all stock.

also,what should I get the 1 3/4 or 1 7/8? Im not going to be doing any superchargers or cam/heads.I didnt hit any codes when I had the kooks on my c6 with off road .Are the headers hitting the zo6 s with codes? Id prefer not to many headaches

The 1 7/8" are really only for bigger cubes of FI. IF you are planning on keeping the stock cats then the headers shouldn't throw any codes. The codes come from high flow cats that flow the exhaust quicker over the rear O2's.
