Default A Winter Vette Sounds Nice

I was all set to go out for a nice am cruz but when i got up i saw an inch of snow on the ground my vette has been inside for 3 weeks now and im going through bad withdrawl!!!!
Im thinking of getting a cheap second vette that i can drive all year in the snow and rain and have some fun.i saw a couple of early c-4 vettes on flebay for 7GEEZS.does this sound like a good idea or am i just talking out my ****??????

Check with the guy in the C4 section but I don't think C4 handles snow any better than your C5

My C5 is fine in the snow, we just got 4" here the other day. Made it out no problem. I've got the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires.

Why not?....sounds like fun as long as its not in serious weather and I wouldn't keep high concerns on the paint..

Call me crazy, but there are a lot of people who treat their Corvette's as if they were something more rare and exotic that shouldn't be used as daily drivers in all weather conditions. In a matter of years the C5's will be in the same price range as C4's. Drive the car, enjoy it, seesh, it's not an investment and never will be.

A set of decent all-season tires is much cheaper than another car.

Default Winter

I drive mine in the winter. But not when it snows.

A quick trip to the mail box told me, not on snow.

Some people just enjoy keeping their cars clean.

It's called salt and antiskid....go out when nobody else is around, less chance of getting "blasted"..but follow daily traffic like you got a truck and expect more than just touch-up work
