CLB Mod???

CLB Mod???
I know this has been covered a million times, i did do a search, but couldn't find the answer to my question. I have a 2001 Vert with the auto trans. Do i need to do the CLB mod, i think i read somewhere that 2001 and newer with the auto trans will not have this problem. Please help as i dont want to get stranded...thanks

No you lucky ...., I mean no your lucky. 
Just to be clear, this issue doesn't affect '01-04 automatics. The system was removed since they still had the locking transmission. Manuals retained the system through the end of the production run.
If your one of the lucky one's you don't have the system and don't need a bypass.
