Does anyone have a source for the round, black Headlight Adjuster Hole Plugs for a C5? I successfully installed a new gear kit from Rodney Dickman but apparently forgot to tighten the plug and it is gone.
You need to fill out your profile with the year car you own.
Early year C5's plugs are no longer available from the dealer. You have to change out the headlight surrounds and get new plugs. They are not expensive. You can buy the later year plugs from the dealer.
Try some used vendors if you absolutely need old plugs, and then use some silicone sealer on them.

I read a TSB on this very issue this morning. I also remember a thread where guys were replacing these plugs only to have them blow off in a week. This was with the 97-99 models I believe.
No me on the other hand could never figure out how to get mine off until just a few days ago.
on the newer style did they improve them so they dont fall off as easy? If so i will buy me a pair so i dont have to worry about it anymore.
Yea, they big time improved it. Like I said, I couldn't figure out how to get mine off and it has instructions right on the thing. They stay on real good now.
