Obviously this response is years later but just in case you or someone else still wants to know.
I've use these folks a couple of times for my 89 C4.
I've had them rebuild my automatic transmission and repair the pop-up head lights.
I believe the owners name is Willie.
As far as I can tell the work is done by Willie and his son Willie Jr.
So far every time I've taken my Vette to them they've done a great job for the exact estimated price, no surprises.
While their shop is a bit unkempt with books, and corvette memorabilia, they will take time for you to answer your questions and even recommend other places in town if they can't do what you need done.
Lastly, Willie really prefers cash and because they don't have a lot of room or parking spaces they want you to pick up your vehicle just as soon as it's ready.
They are friendly if you want to talk corvettes, they can also be just business if you just want in and out.
I guess I'm saying I trust them and will use them again.
