Very kewl. I did the same thing on Monday with posted pictures too.
Someone need to trim the dead branches off that palm tree! LOL
Too bad I can't do that every day. Like the view from the spot you had, interesting no barrier to stop you from going over the edge!

For the curious, and tho locals hate to let the word slip out, this is at the northern most section of the rincon between Ventura and Santa Barbara. You can access from the south going north exit "State Beaches" just north of Ventura, crusie north & enjoy the surfside frontage road invisible to those on Hwy 101, turn left under the rail bridge at the very end of the road. Or, from the N traveling South, Exit "Sea Cliff" and proceed north til dead end left turn takes you under rail bridge. Weekdays are surprisingly sparse, and often the spot at the end is all to yourself 
Maybe I'll bring my hedge clippers next time! FWIW, we often see dolphins just off the surf!
