CTEK Charger users.. a Question
I've started using my CTEK 3300 and it's seems to be working fine. However, after the intial charge and switching over to Mainteneance mode (green light), it occasionally switches to the charge mode (Orange light) then back to maintenenace mode. I have a 3 month old Exide orbital AGM battery, so it's relatively new. Is this cycling back and forth normal?

Maybe what the original poster is observing is the "pulse" effect of the CTEK, since it isn't considered a float maintenance charger as is the BATTERY TENDER line of products...

I use a cheapo from Wal-Mart…Schumacher Battery Companion, 1.5amp, 6v/12v tender, less than $20, and it too does the cycling effect, which is normal, I even use one on my lawn tractor during the winter months.
