Default How do you remove............?

As the question says: the front license plate cover in the bumper that says C-O-R-V-E-T-T-E ? My body guy has offered to refinish it, and my RS headlight door, gratis. The headlight door seems easy, I'm just not sure how that piece in the bumper is removed, i don't want to damage the fresh paint on my bumper pad.

Thanks ahead,
john

Look around the edge of the cover, you'll see the two phillips head screws that hold it on. Take those out, and presto, it's off.
The headlight cover: raise the door manually, remove the side black plastic surround(three screws on the sides), remove the two torx head screws at the rear of the cover, then the two on the side of the cover, lift off.
Hope this heps.

The screws are on the bottom, use a thin phillips head and then pull bottom out first as the top has a lip that goes under body to hold it in.
