Has anyone tried to do this themselves? I've put on some large decals and pin strips without issue, but these pieces are a lot bigger. I can get a buddy to help and would get a heat gun if that would help.
Did you use a heat gun? If not, would one have helped do you think?
Not really IMO , get them and the area on the car good and wet. Use hot water in a spray bottle, like most things once you do the first piece the rest of them get easier. Matter of getting the hang of it.......
Choreo...You didnt get a piece for the headlights and hood? Ours is the bumper, headlights, hood, fenders, mirrors.
We installed ours, just take your time and keep it wet as mentioned.
I used it on the Front Bumper, Headlight Covers and Mirrors, but did not use the partial hood piece. So far every nick I have had from rocks has been on the front bumper or beyond where the partial strip would protect and did not like the idea of having a line across the hood.

No, I did not use a heat gun. That would probably cause you some real problems and the heat would not buy you anything - the material already stretches at ambient temperature and sticks very fast and tight. Also, heat could only serve to distort the pre-cut template shape IMO and it is not recommended to trim the material AFTER it is attached.
