Default Progress Report

Well its been 1 month since i bought my 2002 MY vette and i have drove it maybe twice. But i bought my car and registered here and was only gonna add a stereo and rims. well here is the progress....

Tint on all windows including the front....then went into the mechanics to fix up some minor issues (car was from miami) so i had the seals replaced and the drivers side vanity mirror replaced from melting in the Fla. Sun (by the way will be looking for a passenger vanity mirror soon) and it had a miss the interior electric ..some times the window would work and then not. So i replaced both modules in the doors and that problem was fixed.....noticed the foglamps were not working so i asked him to fix those.....come to find out they had no wires to them ...i mean no harness no nothing but the switch was there on the inside. He told me maybe the car didnt come with foglamps ..hell i dont know so he wired the whole thing up and now they work.

I then bought those corner lights that are black on the bottom part and had them installed and also bought black outs for the back and had those put on and had yellow vette logo put on the steering wheel and then yellow letters on the pass. airbag and black lettering for the back bumper. Got all that done and went to drive the car and noticed an odd sound from the clutch so back to the garage ...didnt even make it a block. I asked here in the forums for some advice on what to do wasnt much offerings (maybe cause i posted in the wrong area) so i decided to go with a Centerforce System and that is being installed right now and should be done by tuesday. All my audio stuff has come in so as soon as it comes out of the mechanics it goes to the stereo shop and will prolly be in there for about a month having the following installed:

Aviz Z2 head unit
Polk Audio SR6500's for the front and back
JL Amps for SR6500's and JL Amp for the 12" Orion that will be installed into the stealth Box.
The center Bezel will be fiberglassed and painted MY to match the outside.

while all this is being done at the same time My Ruff 280's 19/20's will be put on the car.

Hope to have some pics up soon and again thanks for the forum members supplying me with some of these additions and other members for inspiring me to go bankrupt.
