Do you guys mostly wash by hand or have someone do it for you?
Getting my BLACK corvette delivered to me from long beach ca, on sunday and we have a watering ban in Georgia so I was wondering where would be a safe place to wash my black corvette because I can't do it myself! (without a hefty fine if i get caught!)

I do it myself with a hose and bucket in the driveway. That appears not to be an option for you. Hopefully someone in your area will chime in. If not, you may poise this same question in the SE section of the forum.

Come down to my house ,I live in Augusta Ga. I'll help you.
Always by hand. I do see your problem, though. I don't live far from you and if we don't start getting a bunch of rain I'll be in the same boat next summer.

Are there any hand wash detailing outlets in your area? Are they banned from using water too?
I think once you have the car clean, and as long as the car is not a daily driver being driven in inclement weather - you might be able to go quite a while without washing (soap and water) the car. You should be able to get by for a long time with detailing spray, microfiber towels and a good quality "seasoned" duster.
I have a buddy that lives in Hickory N.C. and he told me yesterday that the nuke powerplants are talking about shutdowns because they don't have sufficient water for cooling.
Can you just bucket wash the car (without the hose???). Use two buckets, one for clean water, one for dirty? Then you only waste about 2 gallons of water.

Usually I wash it myself at home in driveway.
I have gone to a "hand wash" a few times and when desperate...
I have gone to a regular car wash...
