MTI racing shifter info
Just put an MTI six shooter shifter in my 97. The shift throw went from 5.25 inches ti 3.25 inches if anyone needs to know what the difference is. I measured this by measuring from the dash to the shifter in 1st gear and then in 2nd gear and subtracting the smaller number from the bigger number.

I love it! It has no rattles and no sloppiness like the stock shifter which if you look most everyone dislikes. Plus it looks stock until you shift. Can't tell if it is stock or changed until then. I have seen where some people have complained theirs rattles. But I have only had it on a short time - like about a week.
