Extended warranties are a RIP. If you do find one it'll cost over 2gs and the companies will do anything they can to avoid paying.

Put the money in the bank. Anything that goes wrong can be fixed for under 2 grand. Don't fall for the BS from guys that save $XXXX because they had a warranty. They are quoting stealership repair costs which are at least double what you can have repairs done for.

Repeat after me. They are NOT extended warranties. The are service contracts. Rarely is a service contract a good value. Many times the company files bankruptcy and then starts selling under another name.

It happens to far to many people. Check on all the copays and amounts. You will find that you are better off to go bare.

Our local news here in Seattle just ran a story about these warranty companies and how they are flooding the market with their products, The report talked about these companies, most out of Wisconson, and what a rip off they are. bottom line of the story, run, don't walk away from any of these offers. I have personally gotten 5 or 6 of these postcards saying "act now, final notice" I called one of them just to get some details and what a scam, the high pressure was like the worst car salesman tactics I have ever experienced.

Haha, I get those post cards and phone calls DAILY.

I purchased a GMPP warranty for my Z. Pricey? A little. Cost me just under $2,000 for it. But whatever, atleast I have peace of mind. My dealer always accommodates me and my family because we have bought many cars from them. Hell, me and my dads 06 Silverado even get free oil changes and inspections
