A couple of weeks ago I installed the granatelli catback and CAGS delete. Car was running great. The past week or so, the car feels really sluggish. I went through the codes and all were previous, and they all seemed typical of a previously dieing battery. I decided to stop by my mechanics place and he said to wait it out a week or so, b/c the computers on these cars are so damn sensitive that it should pick anything up. The moisture has been crazy here in south jersey, and he said it could be a moisture buildup in the plug wires possibly? Anyways, do any of you have any suggestiong/thoughts?
My only thoughts would be, Don't Biggie size at McDonalds. The car should not feel sluggish in the dense cold air of winter in NJ.
I read this and didn't get it at first...that's funny!
Degrading fuel quality this time of year (water content or stale fuel)? Maybe retarded timing because of it?

its probably the fuel. i noticed a difference last year in the spring when they changed over and took some of those power robbing additives out. havent noticed the sluggishness this year as i have cam and head package now and its rather cool most of the time
Winter fuel mixtures are terrible. Damn ethenol is not helping either. Just for grins, disconnect your neg battery terminal for a half-hour. Then try. I do that when mine feels sluggish and it seems to help. It will reset all it has "learned" in the past 100 miles, gives you a clean slate. Also, throw in a can of techron or seafoam on your next fillup. You would be amazed what a clean system can feel like.
Hell- it's winter, it will give you something to do.
