Not sure about y'all but I got 8500 and Bell RX65 and they both junks.
They cannot detect laser fast enough so I sold them both for paying my tickets
I have been looking for this 9500i and may give it a try.

BTW, if you are the first car that they hit instant on, it wont matter what they shoot you with, radar or laser, you are toast.

Laser detection is only good if you are lucky enough to have caught a stray beam from another car ahead of you.

I have the RX65 and it rocks.

Once laser hits you, you are toast. You have less than half a seond to react. Radar detectors are best for radar because it bounces.

If people would realize if your the first car the laser or radar hits ,it's all over, trail someone going your speed by a half mile or so and when they get clocked yours will pick it up.Been using this method for years and never got stopped.

How would this detector fare up against a V1 detector? I keep reading about how those are considered king, but I'm always up for alternatives.

IMOP there is no king because all of them can be nailed by instant on, Lazar, pop radar.....etc you get the picture. The best you can hope is that the person in front of your gets hit with the radar 1st to have some chance to avoid it. The only problem with that theory is that we drive very high profile cars that can be spotted way dn the rd. Stay below 10 of the posted limit and you will not have a problem or pay the State

No radar detector will save you every time. I have the Escort 8500 X50, and it's more then paid for itself, several times over in fact. I wouldn't leave home without it! When it's time for a new one, The 9500i will be my next purchase.

I have the 8500 X50 Blue and it works great !! I just can't see myself spending $450 bucks when mine works just fine.

But I can definitely vouch fo the fact that the 8500 X50 really works GREAT !!

I am in your website and getting ready to input my cc number. I just want to be sure you still have one in stock.

Edit: Never mind, found one.

never be the lead car.
do your "speeding" in the right lane, NOT the LEFT lane!
ALWAYS make sure you have another car in the LEFT lane ahead of you. (while you are in the right lane)

follow these rules and you will significantly reduce your chances of getting caught!
