I ordered a Halltech tunnel port on January 11th, received shipping confirmation same day, UPS ground. Called to check on my order January 21st and they told me they don't have any and don't know when they will. Said the manufacture that makes them, also makes aircraft parts and puts Halltech at the bottom of the list. Spoke with Halltech again on January 25th, they told me they would call the manufacture to check on delivery and call me right back never called!

Are you ordering right from HallTech?
I have one and have no complaints at all.
It is a great intake and priced right for what you get.

I've since cancelled the order with Halltech direct. You can buy them at other vendors but I chose not to for right now. I'm sure Halltech is probably a good company, they just dropped the ball with me.

A buddy of mine is a bike/car fabricator, he's looking into doing something for me with the stock cover. If this doesn't pan out I'll pick one up somewhere else.
I ended up purchasing the Halltech Tunnel Port set up from LG Motorsports. I had a couple of concerns regarding the quality of the product, which LG took care of. . .
The problem was, when I took it to my painter he pointed out a few imperfections, bubbles, dimples and other issues with the surface, that would need to be taken care of.
Halltech does state that we need to "prep for paint" but this goes a little further then that. The bubbles need to be dug out, so to speak and refilled. For a proper job the screen is removed and prep for paint so you get a clean line.
I know you could probably go a cheaper route and just sand it down and slap some paint on it, but I want it perfect and it is a Vette
